Giving “Naked” Some New Clothes

Published On April 16, 2011 | By Mike Carroll | Main Blog

Yes, I realize that title is something of an oxymoron. Sorry, but am writing this in haste. For those of you who’ve visited in the past you know that this site and it’s looks have been a work in progress. Well, it’s getting a bit more work now.

As you’ve hopefully noticed, I’ve updated the look of the welcome page to a magazine style. Now it should be easier to find past stories and discover more that you might have missed or weren’t aware of.

If you click on an article and then come back a few minutes later to find that the page is different — no, it’s not your computer or your mind playing tricks on you. It’s me tinkering.

I’m no good at instruction manuals and work best through trial and error. (The story of my life!)

I’ll be adding more to make the site more of a place worth visiting, both in appearance and content, as well as easier to use and find things.

(PLEASE NOTE: THE LOGO above is temporary. This was my first effort at creating a logo. The font isn’t bad. But the photo is just a temp. An experiment. Sorry the page looks like deja vu at the moment. This will be different by tomorrow.)

I started this site first as a .Mac site, very simple to create, but migrated to a blog-driven WordPress site as I felt the site needed to have a bit more professional and sophisticated look. Also in order to create the Amazon Store page where you can purchase the book and films.

So please bear with me. And if you have any suggestions for how to improve the site or for things you’d like to find in it for future posts, please send me a note.

Thanks for your patience and please check back again in later in the day and over the coming days as Naked Filmmaking tries a few new poses.
