Sac-Anime – Bigger, Better, Longer

Published On January 19, 2013 | By Mike Carroll | KCRA-TV, Mike's TV News Stories

Just two weeks ago I posted the natural-sound package on the Sac-Anime Convention held at the Sacramento Convention Center.

This is an expanded re-working of the story that I wrote and edited for KCRA‘s once-a-month magazine show Common Ground, which aired on Saturday, January 19, 2013. I had initially wanted to write the story up as a reporter package, but I had far too much great interview sound to not use in an in-their-own-words piece.

The original story was 1:45 long. This one runs 3:10.

This is the original story that ran without a written reporter track and is told entirely through the voices of the participants of the Sac-Anime Convention who I interviewed.
