Published On November 11, 2013 | By Mike Carroll | Photo Essay, Walking Around Snapshots

Another photo study of my Hollywood Park neighborhood in the south part of Sacramento, California, taken while out walking the dogs.

I know that these sets are always very similar, but that is the point. Keeping your eye open to how something that you walk past all the time so that you might see something new about it, or how the same thing looks in different types of light.

Now that autumn is upon us we have more moisture in the air and, thus, more clouds in the sky, even if it’s a very thin layer, this changes the harsh sunlight, filtering it so that there is more subtlety in the light.

Taken using the Wood Camera app on my iPhone.
