This is another stab at shameless self-promotion. Several blog postings ago I told of my visit to participate as a speaker at Media Fest 2010 at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton. The students were extremely responsive to what I had to say about make-it-yourself filmmaking and the man behind the event, Will Story, head of the media department, bought a wopping fifteen copies of Naked Filmmaking to give to his students. As you know, a couple weekends ago I was a guest speaker at Media Fest 2010 at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton. A talented, eager and hard working bunch. Almost as soon as I got in the door one particular student approached me, introduced himself as Solomon Stadtner and said he wanted to make films. Saturday, May 22, I participated in Media Fest 2010 put on by William Story, the Radio-Television Instructor at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton. An event about film, video, media, photography. My principal contribution was participating on a filmmaking panel along with Hugh Lifton, Stockton-based Director of Photography, and Benn Ferrer, D.P. with  Transvideo Studios in San Francisco. My appearance on KCRA-3 TV’s morning news program this week officially kicks off the launch of the long-talked of book Naked Filmmaking: How To Make A Feature-Length Film – Without A Crew – For $10,000 Or Less and all my films now being made available on DVD from Amazon.com.
